YWCA OKC offers victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking immediate crisis response services through our C.A.R.E. program. The C.A.R.E. program includes crisis hotlines, advocacy, emergency residential shelter, and forensic nurse exams. C.A.R.E program services, provided at no cost to YWCA clients, are critical in breaking the cycle of violence and transitioning victims to safe and violence-free futures.
As clients work to disengage from a violent home, they often encounter social and societal barriers that keep them from successfully rebuilding their lives. YWCA addresses these needs through our H.O.P.E. program. The H.O.P.E. program includes Healing, Opportunities, Prevention, and Education. This includes financial literacy, job readiness training; and prevention education to better understand healthy relationships, boundaries and consensual sex.
